Your Wake-Up Call: Why “Monday” Won’t Save You

Every day, we work with driven athletes in the weight room—athletes with big dreams, big goals, and big potential.

And yet, even the most motivated ones fall into the same trap:

“I’ll start next week.”
“I’m busy right now.”
“I’ll get back to it Monday.”

Here’s the hard truth:
Monday changes nothing. You do.

Waiting for the perfect time is the fastest way to stay stuck.
Time isn’t the problem—how you use it is.

The Real Secret Behind Momentum

I’m in the business of helping people do what they didn’t think they could.
And after years of coaching athletes at every level, here’s the biggest lesson:

Start. Right now. Not later.

Because once you’re in motion, everything gets easier.
It’s the first step—the decision to start—that’s always the hardest part.

Your Weekend Challenge

Ask yourself:

  • What are you doing today, tomorrow, or Sunday to move closer to your goals?

  • What’s one extra thing you weren’t planning to do—but will commit to now—to move the needle forward?

I’ll go first.

Even with a busy weekend and family time, I’m carving out space to film content for our athletes and train someone who’s serious about getting better.
I could push it off—I’m behind schedule already.
But I won’t.

Because there’s no “better time.”
There’s only right now.

Final Thought

While you’re scrolling TikTok, playing video games, or binge-watching Netflix…

Someone else is training.
Someone else is lifting.
Someone else is shooting.
Someone else is doing the work you’re not doing.

Make that someone you.

Let’s go.
